Our Story Begins Here

a new chapter

were excited to welcome you back to THE MARYSVILLE MUSIC WEEKEND.

BUILDING ON THE STROPNG FOUNDATIONS SET UP BY THE ORIGINAL FOUNDER PETER GUEST AND THE COMMITMENT AND STEWARDSHIP OF THE MARYSVILLE AND DISTRICT LIONS CLUB TRIANGLE ARTS GROUP ARE PROUD TO RELAUNCH THE MUCH LOVED MARYSVILLE MUSIC WEEKEND IN 2026.

Marysville Music Weekend began as a small, community-driven event created by locals who wanted to celebrate music, connection and the unique spirit of Marysville IN 2015. From its early days featuring a handful of local performers in intimate venues, it has steadily grown into a respected regional festival that draws musicians and audiences from across Victoria. The weekend has always been shaped by volunteers and community support, with a strong focus on showcasing local talent alongside visiting artists in a relaxed, welcoming setting. After significant challenges for the region, including the Black Saturday bushfires and ongoing recovery, the festival has also come to represent resilience and renewalbringing people back into town, supporting local businesses, and reinforcing Marysville as a place where creativity and community thrive.
